Roncesvalles Charm

Jerad & Dagna live on the main floor of a old house in the Roncesvalles & Queen neighborhood of Toronto.

Miniature rosebud key hooks in the front hall.
Beyond the front hall you enter the living/dining area which features the original mouldings, windows, and  fireplace with impressive Burled Oak mantel.
A beige, tufted loveseat softly separates the living room from the dining room, fronted by a vintage coffee table with plenty of storage & glass-top centre, quite similar to this G-Plan Brandon "Cocktail table" below circa the early 1950s.

A moody cityscape in blacks & browns plays off the carved black wood dining set while the lime wall keeps it light & lively
Separated window panes (half patterned glue chip, half flat) & partial curtain let light in while maintaining privacy. The original stout radiators add charm. A ochre-coloured couch, beigey-cream walls, & golden hardwood floors give the living room warmth balancing out the spaciousness of its raised ceilings.
Down a short hall from the main room is the kitchen, with built-in wooden shelves, exposed brick & tiled countertop. Very country-kitchenesque.
The bedroom is very peaceful two original windows, deep fuchsia walls, champagne brocade curtains & brightly patterned bedding.
